What is the Dashboard?

It is a snapshot of what you entered in TravelContact. Here you can see all the relevant information about the month activity of your trips and clients. Also, activate the Google Tasks integration so you can create your tasks list.

What can I find on the Dashboard?

  1. My Trips: Total Sales for all trips created during this month. You can also see a year view which reflects all sales made this year.
  2. My Clients: Total clients and prospects added by a user to the platform.

  3. My Month-Trips: All relevant trip activity of all active, upcoming and recent trips for this particular month. Here you can also see the commissions the agency receives and the date in which they are going to be paid.

  4. My Month-Clients: List of all clients or prospects added this month to the platform. And Reminders for relevant client activity during this month: Birthdays, Passport Expirations, etc.

  5. Tasks: Activate Google Tasks integration so you can create your tasks list.

 

 

My Trips

1. What information can I see in My Trips section?

You can see the list of trips filtered Monthly or Yearly. A list of trips created this month or created in the last year until the current date will be displayed.

2. What are the green/red arrows in My Trips section?

Travelcontact compares the amount on each field of the current month/year with the previous one and points you with arrows if the numbers have increased or decreased.

 

My Clients

What information can I see in My Clients section?

Amount of clients you have created on the platform plus those ones assigned to you, divided into the two groups managed by the platform: Clients and Prospects.

 

My Month-Trips

What information can I see in My Month-Trips section?

You will see two segments:

  • Activity with a list of the trips about to start or still active in the current month, only the trips under confirmed, active and recent status will appear on this list.
  • Commissions with those received by the agency in the current month.

 

My Month-Clients

What information can we see in My Month-Clients section?

Here you will see a list of all the clients and prospects created in the current month, organized chronologically by creation date.

1. How to add a task in the Home Module?

  1. Locate the Tasks section and click the + Add Task button. 
  2. A box will be displayed, where you can enter the task. 
  3. If you want to add a task description, click the Edit icon located on the right side of the title. 
  4. A new tab will open where you can enter additional information and assign a due date for completing this task.

2. How to add a due date to tasks?

  1. Go to the Home Module
  2. Locate the Tasks section and click the + Add Task button. 
  3. Click the Edit icon located on the right side of the task title. 
  4. A new tab will open where you must select the Add date button to assign a due date for completing this task.

3. How to link a task with a trip from the Home Module?

  1. Locate the Tasks section and add a new task or select one from your list. 
  2. Click the Link Trip icon located on the right side of the task title. 
  3. A new tab will open where you must search for the trip by name. 
  4. Finally, click on Confirm.

4. How to unlink a task that is linked to a trip?

  1. Locate the Tasks section and select a task from your list that is associated with a trip. 
  2. Click the Unlink Trip icon located on the right side of the task title. 
  3. A new tab will open where you must confirm that you want to disassociate the task.

5. How to delete a task?

  1. Locate the Tasks section and select a task from your list. 
  2. Click the Delete icon located on the right side of the task title.

6. How can I assign a task to another advisor within my agency?

  1. Find the Tasks section in the and click the + Add Task button. 
  2. A new box will be displayed where you can enter the task. 
  3. Click on the Assign an agent icon, which is located on the right side of the screen. 
  4. A small window will open where you can enter the agent's name and assign the task. 
  5. Click on Confirm to save the action.

7. Where can I check the tasks that I have assigned to another agent?

  1. Find the Tasks section and click on the Assigned Tasks tab. 
  2. Here you can view the list of all assigned tasks and you will also have the option of filtering the information by agent name. 
  3. You can delete, edit and also view the tasks that have been completed.

8. Where can I check the tasks assigned to me?

  1. Find the Tasks section and click on My Tasks tab. 
  2. Here you can view the list of all the tasks that have been assigned to you. 
  3. You can complete, delete, edit and also view the completed tasks.

9. How to create a task template from the Home Module?

  1. Find the Tasks section.
  2. Select the Create new template option, a new window will open where you can enter the information about this template.
  3. Add the template’s name, and then add the task and the description.
  4. To add another task to the same template, click on the + Add task button and complete the information.
  5. To finish the process click on Save template.

10. How to view, edit and delete existing task’s templates?

  1. Find the Tasks section.
  2. Select the Manage templates option, a new window will open where you can manage the existing templates.
  3. From here you will be able to view, edit and delete any of the existing ones. 
  4. To finish the process click on Close.

11. How to create a task list from a template?

  1. Find the Tasks section.
  2. Select the Create new list from template option.
  3. A new window will open where you must select the template and then add the name of the new list.
  4. To finish the process click on Add list.
