1. How to add a supplier?

  1. Find the Supplier icon located on the left side of your screen and click on it.
  2. Select the Add Supplier button located on the right side and a new screen will open with all the information to be filled out.
  3. Click on Create a Supplier.

Note: If you created a supplier from the Trips Module when you added service to the trip, it will automatically be saved to the supplier database.

2. What is the meaning for Brand in the Suppliers Module?

A Hotel Brand is part of a series or group of hotels operated by the same chain or owner. Opposite of an independent hotel it is a chain-affiliated hotel.

3. What is the meaning for Chain in the Suppliers Module?

A hotel chain is a company that owns or operates several hotel brands. It manages hotels located in different areas. They can be total or partial owners of the hotel and manage their administration, marketing and promotion.

4. How to edit and add information to a supplier?

  1. Find the Supplier Module located on the left side of your screen and click on it.
  2. Do a search for the supplier you want to edit and click on its name.
  3. A new screen will open. You must select Edit or Add to change suppliers’ information, telephones and address.
  4. Click on Save.

5. Who can edit the information of the suppliers?

You will be able to edit the information only of the suppliers added by your agency. As for the suppliers' core, it can only be edited by the TravelContact Administrators.

6. How to find a supplier within the Suppliers Module?

  1. Find the Supplier Module located on the left side of your screen and click on it.
  2. Enter the name or information of the supplier in the search bar, the upper left side of the screen.
  3. The list of supplier matching the search will be displayed.

Note: Using the + button, you can do an advanced search for suppliers by Brand or Chain.

7. How to add labels to a supplier?

  1. Select the Supplier Module located in the main menu of the platform (left side of the screen). 
  2. Find the supplier you want to add the label(s) to and click on their name. 
  3. A new tab will open with the information of the supplier, locate the box called Labels and click Edit
  4. In this new window you can add and manage the labels of that supplier, you can select from those that are available and create new ones if necessary. 
  5. Then click Add + and to finish click close.

8. How to delete labels from a supplier?

  1. Select the Supplier Module located in the main menu of the platform (left side of the screen). 
  2. Find the supplier you want to delete the label(s) to and click on their name. 
  3. A new tab will open with the information of the supplier, locate the box called Labels and click Edit
  4. In this new window you can remove the labels by clicking on the x. 
  5. To finish click close.

 

9. Why can't I edit or delete flight service supplier?

The reason is the airline information has been previously loaded into the platform and is available for all agencies within TravelContact.

10. Can I see a supplier created by another agent?

Yes, all suppliers can be viewed by the entire group of agents within the same agency.

11. How to filter your suppliers?

Select the filter and then choose in the listings the option that corresponds to your search. You have the option to filter the suppliers by: label, country, type of service and choose between all or the most recent suppliers. The filters will work together if you choose two or more filters simultaneously.

 

12. Can I add information from my contact to suppliers?

Yes, enter the supplier profile and click on the Contact Information category. Then fill in the required information.

13. What is the suppliers core?

It is a suppliers database created by TravelContact, available to all agencies. You will be able to see and use it in your operations, but only the TravelContact administrator will be able to edit the information.

14. How can I know if a supplier is part of the core?

When entering the supplier's profile you won't be able to edit the information of those suppliers of the core.

15. How to add amenities to a lodging supplier?

  1. Select the Suppliers Module in the main menu (left side of the screen).
  2. Find the Lodging Supplier you want to add amenities to and click on their name.
  3. A tab with the supplier's profile will open, go to the Amenities Sub-Section and click on the Edit button.
  4. Add all the amenities offered by the supplier and click Save.

16. How to enter Flywire contact information on a supplier?

  1. Enter the Supplier Profile.
  2. Select the category of Additional Information. Within the contacts box click add.
  3. In the contact type field, choose Flywire and complete the information. Be sure to complete all required fields.
  4. To finish click on Save.

17. How to delete a supplier?

  1. Find the Supplier Module located on the left side of your screen and click on it.
  2. Do a search for the supplier you want to delete and click on its name.
  3. Click on the Remove icon (trash can) located on the right side.
  4. The platform will ask if you are sure you want to delete this supplier. Select the Delete button to finish the process.
